How is your mental health impacted during perimenopause or menopause?


During perimenopause and menopause, there are a lot of changes for women. We understand are are here to help you navigate these changes from mood swings, irritability, memory concentration problems, sleep disturbances, and changes in self-esteem and body image.


Perimenopause, the transitional phase leading up to menopause, can have significant effects on mental health due to hormonal fluctuations, primarily the decrease in estrogen and progesterone levels. These hormonal changes can affect various aspects of mental well-being,

I have taken numerous courses on mental health and menopause, and am in the process of publishing a book on mental health and menopause that also includes the impacts of menopause on work life, love relationships, and much more.


I am trained in CBT, which has been shown to help menopausal symptoms and mood, as well as other evidence-based modalities that are shown to help menopausal symptoms.


As a female who is going through perimenopause, I understand and am a trained therapist.
